In Muzaffarpur, fearless miscreants shot and killed an engineer. The incident took place near Chhapra Tarma NH 28 in Kanti police station area. The deceased has been identified as Chandan Singh alias Deepak (35) of Kathaiya police station area. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and started investigating.
Shot while going home
Regarding the incident, the family of the deceased IT engineer says that Chandan Kumar used to come to his house in Bairia every month for two-three days and today also he was returning home. During this time, miscreants shot him in Kanti police station area and fled from the spot. As soon as the shot was fired, people gathered there and in a hurry he was admitted to a private hospital for treatment where he died during treatment. After the incident, there was screaming and crying among the family members and there is anger among the family members regarding this incident. People say that Chandan Kumar was very soft-spoken and was working as an IT engineer in Tetaria block office of East Champaran district for the last two years. His native village is in Kathaiya police station area and he had built a house in Bairia of the city.
